Jason Reitman’s upcoming Oscar contender Up in the Air, recently pushed back to a December 4th limited release, has just received a full length trailer. The terrific teaser trailer, which floated online a couple of weeks ago, had a fascinating voice over by George Clooney, but no actual dialogue between characters. However, this new one is full of the comedic moments we have come to expect from a Reitman film. In addition, there is a lot more to be seen of Anna Kendrick’s character. Personally, I liked the mood and tone of the teaser trailer much better, but from what I’ve heard, the new one represents the tone of the film a little bit better.

In another piece of news, we have received another trailer for Martin Scorsese’s adaption of Dennis Lehane’s novel Shutter Island. The movie was recently pushed back to a release date of February 19, 2010. This trailer is very similar to the first one that was released a few months ago. Paramount’s decision to move the film back is an intriguing one. Will it still be an Oscar contender when it comes out? Give it a watch below and decide for yourself.
