Producers Guild Nominations Announced

The Producers Guild of America announced their 2010 nominees this morning, and while it is, for the most part, full of films on their way to receiving Best Picture nominations, there are a few surprises in the forms of Star Trek and District 9. Avatar was the third film of the bunch that represented the sci-fi genre, but that was hardly a shocker.

Another film of note is Nine, which missed out on this list of ten, and is perhaps on its way to being out of the Best Picture race as I predicted a week ago.

The PGA will announce the winner on January 24th. Read the full list of nominees after the jump.
